New mounting solution on handlebars
Need to be able to mount a front light on the grevil! Should also reduce need for front light mount re-adjustment, and keep everything easy to remove for charging/switching between both bikes.
Proposed solution is two parts, but the adapter could also be 3d printed at home if I just get off my ass:
K-Edge mount: Wahoo, combo ~$70 Cygolite-to-GoPro adapter (Amazon or cheaper elsewhere) <$15 -
Cadence sensor
Cadence data allows for more informed and consistent gear selection than just doing it by feel. Should help with ride efficiency, reducing fatigue/strain.
Notes: might make more sense to buy as a combo with speed sensor? Both bundles save ~$10 over buying separately. The Garmin version is supposed to do better with extremely high cadences, but I don't really ride that so the Wahoo up to ~150 should suffice. Or, proponents of the Magene option say it's a solid pick (and, if you switch mode, a decent speed sensor instead?).

Tail light saddle mount
Prevent light being blocked by saddle bag or rear wheel to enhance visibility. Also would let me switch light between bikes much faster, since they have different seatpost diameters so require a ladder swap.
Saddle mount (must be Wahoo version!) $62 plus import tax -
Speed sensor
This is more of a luxury, but it would be significantly more accurate than GPS data! This is also supposed to give you slightly more accurate distance? The Garmin sensor is supposed to be good down to 1mph, vs Wahoo to 3mph and Magene no quoted number, but most riding is faster than this so it doesn't really seem worth the extra price. Some people report having a lot of trouble replacing the battery on the Wahoo sensor whereas the Magene seems to be a fairly simple twist-lock?

Lighter wheels on the synapse
Current rear wheel, with tube and tire but without cassette, weighs 1821g. The gravel wheels together are only 1760g (though this is pre-tube/tire/cassette)
- Hunt 44 aerodynamicist (base $1379 but goes 35%+ off around ex. memorial day; incl crash replacement guarantee. People who have these seem to really like them! And as dad has seen the H_Care is legit.)
- 9velo LV 2.0 45mm (base $929, possible discount 10% w/ `hambini10`?)
- Nobl CR 35 or 45 w/ DT Swiss 350 ($1506.80, so probably not lol)
- Light bike wr35 disc ($1100 ish w/ DT Swiss 240)
- Elitewheels?
- Bontrager Aeolus (~$1200 for both wheels, i like bontrager?)
